We don't collect personal information. There are no accounts, no cookies, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing you do in the games is sent to us.
Who runs this site
Wacky Inventor (wackyinventor.com) is made and run by Daniel Noam Tuby, in Israel. You can write to us at hello@wackyinventor.com.
What stays on your device
To remember your progress, the games keep a few things in your browser's own storage on your device:
- Your progress: which work orders you solved, your stars, and the machines you built.
- Your settings, such as sound, volume and light or dark, and the puzzle you are making.
- The language you chose, so the site opens in it next time.
This never leaves your device, and we can't see it. To delete it, clear this site's data in your browser's settings. That also deletes your progress.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, its servers handle technical details such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We don't use this to identify or follow anyone. Cloudflare explains its part in its privacy policy.
Links you share
When you share a machine, a puzzle or a daily result, everything is written into the link itself. Nothing is uploaded to us. Whoever gets the link can see what's in it, including your puzzle's name, goal and hint, so leave out personal details. The game only uses your clipboard when you press the button to copy.
Children
The games are for everyone, children included. Because we don't collect personal information, there is nothing for a child to give us: no sign-up, no chat, no profiles and no ads. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first and ask for any consent the law requires.
Your rights
Privacy laws, such as Israel's Privacy Protection Law and the European and UK GDPR, let you ask what information we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. We hold none. If you email us, we use your message only to answer it, and delete it when we no longer need it. Questions: hello@wackyinventor.com.
Changes
If this ever changes, for example if we add accounts, we will update this page and its date before it happens.
